Tee Labs Space

Tee Labs is located in the core area of Zhangjiang High-tech Park in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, near the Jinke Road of the Central and the Zhongke Road Station of Subway Line 13. Tee Lab is surrounded well-equipped with living facilities, being adjacent to Shanghai University of Science and Technology, the Advanced Research Institute, the National Protein Center, the Shanghai Light Source and other universities and scientific research institutions.

Tee Labs has a total area of about 2600 square meters, including 1500 square meters of experimental area, including a chemical laboratory, biological laboratory, multiple cell and tissue culture, and BSL-2 laboratory. Multiple types of experimental Spaces can support enterprises with different research and development directions to carry out experimental work, and also give early-stage and expanding companies the option of multiple teams working in the same space. Tee Labs uses an open office laboratory, which greatly reduces the waste of space and cost caused by partition, and incubators can adjust the size of the rental area according to their own business changes.

    Tee Labs has about 80 office seats, all of which use ergonomically designed desks and chairs to increase staff comfort.

    Different types of meeting rooms meet different needs of meeting scenarios, all meeting rooms can be booked online, without long-term rental to saving costs.

    Chemistry Laboratory

    Tee Labs’ Chemistry laboratory has an actual area of approximately 280 square meters, consisting of 12 standard operating fume hoods, 6 backup fume hoods for expansion equipment, and 2 constant temperature and humidity laboratories. Due to the environmental protection and safety planning in the core area of Zhangjiang, the chemical laboratory resources in this block are very scarce. Tee Labs follows the facilities, equipment and management model of the world’s top 500 biopharmaceutical companies, providing a safe and reliable experimental environment for small molecule research and development. The regulated chemicals involved in the chemical experiment meeting are uniformly purchased and managed by the Tee Labs operation team, which greatly reduces the management cost and time invested by incubated enterprises on the premise of ensuring operation compliance and safety.

    • Biological Laboratory

    Tee Labs’ biomolecular laboratory and cell laboratory have an actual area of about 600 square meters, including more than 80 molecular workbenches, 3 small cell rooms (2 biosafety cabinets), 1 large cell room (7 biosafety cabinets), 1 bacterial culture room, 1 dark room and 1 cold storage. Biosafety cabinets instead of super-clean tables are used in all cells rooms, which not only solves the problem of cross-contamination between samples of incubated enterprises, but also isolates the harm of samples and chemicals to the human body. A biosafety cabinet can be rented separately for the large cell room to meet the earliest experimental needs of incubated enterprises at the lowest cost.

    BSL-2 Laboratory

    With the standardization and strictness of the management of biological products and biological experiments in China, as well as the vigorous development of the field of cell therapy, the demand for biological secondary laboratories is increasing year by year. Tee Labs’ dedicated EHS specialist will help the biological secondary laboratory to compile biological management manuals, set up biosafety committees, also develop and execute experimental risk assessments in the shortest possible time.
